WHY AM I DOING THIS?
The quick answer is because hygienists & therapists are fantastic, and we don’t get the recognition we deserve. The truth is, this is why I my brand ‘London Hygienist’ after qualifying in 2015. Little did I know that it would become one of the most recognised names in the industry.
I’m now regarded as one of the most popular and sought-after hygienists in London and a rising star within the industry. I am seen as a key opinion leader and ambassador for several large dental brands and am regularly invited to speak at lectures and write for both industry and consumer press across the world.

AIM & OBECTIVES
This day is designed to help hygienists and therapists gain confidence in running their own business, developing a personal brand and developing skills in marketing, social media and PR. The course will also consist of a pre course call and post course call so delegates have an opportunity to set their intentions and goals which will be followed up after the course day.
This course meets the criteria for the GDC’s development outcomes B&C and will provide delegates with the skills and empowerment to produce replicable results.
Discuss the role of purpose and motivation and explore what ‘mindset’ means - in and out of work
Gain insight into business branding and learn about design and trademarks
Discover how to apply simple marketing strategies for patient growth
Learn about various social media platforms and how to best use them for digital marketing
Gain insight in business and consumer PR and learn how to best to position yourself and use them for business leverage
Discuss the importance of ‘workflow’ and how to apply that in a clinical setting and how to apply simple ‘life hacks’ to support a good work, life balance
Understand how to utilise ‘Direct Access’ and implement protocols to support this in clinic
